Damp survey and report
A full inspection of the walls, ceilings and floors, with moisture meter readings, thermal imaging and a written report with photographs.
Mould and condensation surveys
Temperature and humidity checks to work out whether black mould is caused by condensation, ventilation, leaks or a combination.
Rising and penetrating damp
We check whether the cause is rising damp, penetrating damp from the roof, chimney, render or gutters, or something else.
Pre-purchase damp inspection
Thinking of buying? An independent damp inspection shows what is wrong before you commit.
Timber moisture checks
Pin meter readings on skirtings, joists and roof timbers to show where timber is at risk.

What a survey includes
- Moisture meter readings on walls and plaster
- Pin meter readings on timber
- Thermal imaging to show cold, damp areas
- Temperature and humidity checks for condensation
- Hygrometers (humidity testers) to measure moisture in the air in each room
- Borescope camera to look inside cavities, behind walls and under floors without taking them apart
- Carbide meter testing where needed, for an exact moisture reading from a small sample of wall or plaster
- Inspection of the roof, chimney, render, gutters and ground levels
- Photographs of every area, with readings noted
- A written report with a diagnosis and prioritised recommendations
- Plain advice on what to repair first

Know the cost before we visit. The price depends only on the size of your home, and every survey includes moisture readings, thermal imaging and a full written report with photos, back to you within 2 working days.

Payment terms
- 20% to book your inspection date. This is £44 for a flat or 2 bed, £54 for a 3 bed and £70 for a 4 bed.
- 80% on arrival. Pay by card or bank transfer when we arrive.
- Or pay the full amount when you book. If you would rather settle it all up front, just ask.
